We personally know and feel the need for COMMUNITY with in the special needs world. It is easy to feel and be alone when you have to fight and advocate for your child every day. There is a loss of hopes and dreams that not a lot of people can or will be able to totally understand. There are difficult stays in the hospital. Difficult phone calls. Difficult interactions in public at school and at the store. Difficulties balancing your family life and the other children and your spouse while you have to put so much time and energy into your child with disabilities. From our experience being in a community can help with these things and so much more.

Certain Hope is a non-profit that brings hope and community to families raising kids with disabilities.

When you have a child with extra needs it is easy to feel that you are alone. Being in a community can help with the good days, bad days, and every day in between. Join our private Facebook group to begin that connection with other families experiencing the same things.

Interested in getting involved? With multiple events every year we are always looking for help. We can use help preparing for events, during the event or after events. Volunteer with us to help all families enjoy the great outdoors.

We design our events for the WHOLE family. We want everyone to come and have their best day ever! We provide the food, activities, and fun!

Psalm 19:1 tells us that when we are outside we cannot deny the existence of God… it all points to Him. That’s why we do things in God’s Creation. Being outside does so many good things for us physically, mentally, and spiritually!

Certain Hope is a 501c3 non-profit that brings hope and community to families raising kids with disabilities. With your support, we’ll continue to rally towards the immediate needs of individuals and families. Your donation will support and increase their access to opportunities.

Events for the whole family

We design our events for the WHOLE family. We want everyone to come and have their best day ever! The events are always free, safe, and fun. The events we host are the perfect space to connect with other families who are in a similar situation, raising kids with special needs. Mom and dads can connect like never before along with their kids.

Meet Our Family

Andy and Laura Gibson and their 4 kids can often be found outside seeking accessible adventures for the whole family and sharing time with friends over a delicious meal.

Their youngest daughter Briella was born with a rare chromosome disorder that has come with a long list of diagnosis and challenges. There is quite a list of things she can’t do but you will often find their family talking about what she CAN do and how she is filled with so much joy.

Through the day to day challenges they noticed the deep need for in-person community, It was because of this that Certain Hope Community was started. Our passion is to meet other families and share the hope and joy we have because of Jesus.
